MultiCare Health System Decision Support System Analyst in Tacoma, Washington

FTE: 1.0, Shift: Day, Schedule: Exempt, Full Time Days Position Summary The Decision Support System Analyst is an ideal opportunity to work in collaboration and coordination with the MultiCare finance division. Organizing and presenting various system-level activities and reports, you will ensure quality data is available to support critical activities throughout our health care system. Responsibilities You will complete procedures related to data integration to MultiCare's decision support system (DSS) You will maintain tables related to data integration, like Charge Code table, Payor table, Health Plan table, Department table, and Account Code table You will provide reporting support of data within DSS, both encounter and GL, including technical and data content expertise You will provide staff with training in various modes and supports departments expanded use of the tools through education You will support all reporting platforms related to DSS like business intelligence and visualizations You will perform necessary audits and reconciliations to ensure the accuracy, consistency, and overall quality of DSS data Requirements High school graduate or equivalent Minimum three (3) years of experience in financial or data analysis within a healthcare setting of which one year is performing database administration or decision support system support Systems experience and familiarity with Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook Our Values As a MultiCare employee, we'll rely on you to reflect our core values of Respect, Integrity, Stewardship, Excellence, Collaboration and Kindness. As required by various pay transparency laws, we share a competitive range of compensation for candidates hired into each position. The pay scale is $69,410.00 - $95,867.00 USD. However, pay is influenced by factors specific to applicants, including but not limited to: skill set, level of experience, and certification(s) and/or education. If this position is associated with a union contract, pay will be reflective of the appropriate step on the pay scale to which the applicant's years of experience align.
