About being our Civil Engineer Intern
We have an exciting opportunity this summer for a Civil Engineer Internship in our Tacoma office! Our engineering group is currently involved in several municipal projects. As an integrated design firm, Psomas offers a unique opportunity for our engineers to work in partnership with other disciplines on a variety of endeavors.
Psomas has an excellent reputation with our clients in providing creative, cost-effective solutions. We offer an exciting opportunity to support projects as well as contribute to larger interdisciplinary project assignments.
Responsibility Highlights for our Civil Engineer Intern
- Assist engineers with the planning and design support for projects.
- Drafting and plan production using AutoCAD™ Civil 3D.
- Assist with preparation of planning documents, engineering reports, quantity takeoffs, and estimates for projects.
- Site inspection, site visits, and investigation.
Minimum Qualifications to be our Civil Engineer Intern
- Current university student or recent graduate, majoring in Civil Engineer
- Experience with latest versions of AutoCAD™ Civil 3D, MS Word, and Excel

- A competitive salary! The genuinely expected range for this position is $25.50 - $27.50 per hour depending on experience
