Your Role and Responsibilities

The Senior Cloud Engineer with VMware Skills plays a crucial role in leading and delivering complex projects related to cloud migration, management, and optimization using VMware technologies. As a subject matter expert, you will collaborate closely with architects, developers, and project managers to design, implement, and validate innovative cloud solutions tailored to our clients' needs.

• Leading cloud engineering projects involving VMware technologies, ensuring successful delivery within agreed timelines and budgets.

• Conducting thorough analysis of clients' current infrastructure and identifying opportunities for improvement through cloud migration and optimization.

• Designing and implementing scalable, secure, and high-performance cloud architectures using VMware technologies such as vSphere, vSAN, NSX, and vRealize Suite.

• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to address technical challenges, provide guidance, and ensure smooth project execution.

• Mentoring junior engineers and contributing to the development of team members through knowledge sharing and coaching.

• Keeping up-to-date with latest trends, tools, and best practices in cloud engineering, particularly in relation to VMware technologies.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.

• Strong hands-on experience with VMware vSphere, vSAN, NSX, and vRealize Suite.

• Proficiency in cloud orchestration and automation tools like Ansible, Terraform, or similar.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration with various stakeholders.

• Experience in conducting feasibility assessments, creating detailed designs, and executing migrations to public clouds.

• Professional certifications such as VCP, VSP, VCAP, or similar VMware credentials.
