  • Maintain a positive rapport and professional relationship with youth, family, and all intra- and inter-agency external representatives (i.e., caseworkers, law guardians, other service providers).

  • Effectively collaborate with members of the youth's program management team for continuity of care.

  • Provide education and training to program staff related to the clinical needs of youth.

  • Consistently demonstrate and promote principles of Agency wide initiatives, notably those of the Therapeutic Crisis Intervention (TCI), Boys Town Psychoeducational Model (PEM), and other skills based models.

  • Function as part of the "At-Risk" assessment team, which includes periodic on-call (Agency provided cell-phone) duties.

  • New York State licensure in Social Work, or a related mental health field.

  • Maintain his/her professional standing in the field, discussing those professional needs with Clinical Supervisor, and maintaining professional licensure.

  • Demonstrate high level of written and verbal communication skills.

  • Manage the paperwork demands of the position within the time frames established.

  • Maintain productive and professional relationships with all Agency staff, youth, parents, and community partners.

  • Maintain the highest of ethical standards and conduct.

  • Regular and timely attendance.

  • Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
