SUNY Upstate Medical University Research Support Specialist, Senior in Syracuse, New York
Job Summary:
This position will be responsible for successfully conduct experiments such as Western blotting, cell culture, PCR, tissue sectioning, confocal microscopy, and others under the guidance of the PI under the direction of the PI. Ensure general operation and organization of the lab, including obtaining quotes and ordering lab supplies, working with chemicals and biohazards, and maintaining lab safety protocols at all times. Overall responsibility for laboratory operations, maintenance and upkeep.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelors Degree in a related field and at least 3 years of relevant laboratory experience or or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
Advanced degree in a related field.
Work Days:
M-F days some weekends or evenings may be required.
