Crouse Hospital Radiologic Technologist in Syracuse, New York
Performs radiographic procedures at a technical level not requiring constant supervision. Performs a variety of specialized and general procedures that require independent judgment, ingenuity and initiative. Responsible for patient care with no age limitations.
Job Requirements:
Functional knowledge of principles and procedures used in diagnostic radiology for safe and efficient operation and maintenance of routine radiologic equipment. This ability should be at or above a level acquired through formal education in a program approved by the New York State Department of Health.
Current State of New York license to practice diagnostic medical radiography.
Current registration by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists.
Must have Basic Life Support (BLS) certification at the time of hire or within two (2) weeks after hire date.
Minimum per diem requirement: At least two shifts per month (prioritizing weekend shifts) and one holiday per year. Various shifts available ranging from 8 to 13 hours, days, evenings, and nights.
