Description

We are in search of a Quality Assurance Tester for our team based in Syracuse, New York. This role offers a short-term contract employment opportunity. As a Quality Assurance Tester, you will be an integral part of our team, collaborating with various departments to ensure the flawless execution and overall quality of our website.

Responsibilities:

• Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams including developers, designers, and project managers to understand project requirements and provide feedback on issues with user interface design and functionality.

• Conduct comprehensive testing of the website to ensure each page’s functionality, usability, and overall quality.

• Identify, document, and report issues, ensuring accurate and detailed tracking.

• Perform compatibility testing across multiple browsers, devices, and platforms to ensure a consistent user experience.

• Conduct thorough regression testing to verify bug fixes and ensure that new features integrate seamlessly into the website.

• Identify areas for improvement in the website's usability, performance, and functionality.

• Utilize skills in Automation Frameworks, Backend Development, Automation Test, Python, and Django to enhance testing procedures.

• Collaborate closely with digital strategists and UI/UX designers to ensure flawless execution of the website.

• Ensure accurate and detailed bug tracking using Gitlab.

• Continually strive for improvement in the website's usability, performance, and functionality.

Requirements

• Must have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field

• Proven experience as a Quality Assurance Tester or similar role

• Demonstrated knowledge of Automation Frameworks and Backend Development

• Proficiency in Automation Testing

• Skilled in Python and Django programming languages

• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail

• Strong communication and teamwork skills

• Ability to handle multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously

• Experience in developing and executing test cases, scripts, plans and procedures

• Familiarity with Agile frameworks and regression testing is a plus

• Understanding of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes
