Description:
PA/NP Operative/Non-Op General Surgery
Join a surgical team that will expose you to multiple surgical specialties and advanced surgery techniques. Generous paid-time off, health benefits, professional/CME benefits, and flexible scheduling (8hr/10hr/12hr available).
Responsibilities
Qualifications
Managing postoperative care including performing rounds and provide ongoing assessment and management of surgical patients.
NYS licensed PA or NP (RNFA). DEA Eligible.
Perform patient histories conducting physical examinations and ordering appropriate diagnostic tests.
Strong surgical and inpatient/acute setting experience.
If operative, assistant in all procedures including advanced robotics.
Provide inpatient and surgery center care.
If interested in operative position, must have 1-2 years of first assist experience. New graduates are encouraged to apply for our resident positions.

Physical Demands:
Medium work/light work: must be able to lift 25 pounds occasionally. Will require ability to stand, walk, sit, bend, twist, squat and reach.
