The Mathematics Program at the college of Environmental Science and Forestry, The State University of New York, invites applications for a full-time Teaching Instructor position beginning Fall 2024. This is a tenure track position at the Syracuse campus. This position calls for candidates who have demonstrated a record of excellence in undergraduate teaching and curriculum development. The committee will be looking within the applications for specific evidence of outstanding teaching credentials and experience with integrating educational technology. Having a MS in mathematics is strongly preferred, and candidates with an interest in mathematics education are encouraged to apply.
Starting Salary: $60,000 - $70,000, DOQ
Payroll Title: Instructor 10 months
Primary Responsibilities: Faculty in these positions teach primarily first and second year mathematics courses that helps to meet the needs of the college. The Program is looking to expand our offerings to support the development of new majors. Teaching loads are 4 courses during the Fall, and 3 Courses during Spring. This position carries with it program and collegewide committee responsibilities.
