Adecco is currently assisting a local client recruiting for a Forklift Operator in Syracuse, NY . This position is a Temp to Hire opportunity, with a pay rate of $19.00 per hour! For instant consideration for this Forklift Operator position, Apply Now!

Duties include:

-Operation of forklifts, fork extensions, pallet jacks, turn table wrapping machines, tape guns, steel banding equipment and occasional hand tools.

-Utilize co-workers and the tools available to lift heavy items and complete tasks.

-Effectively communicate with co-workers, customers and management

-Maintain a neat workspace, Put things back in order, sweep and take out. garbage/recycling.

-Become familiar with products, pull parts according to order in hand, Record box/lift quantities correctly.

-Report any damaged product

-Neatly arrange orders onto pallets, so that they can be checked easily

-Wrap and label outgoing orders properly

-Use common math daily, (Addition, subtraction, multiplication, Division, Fractions?

-Load and unload van trailers, flatbeds, stake rack trucks, box trucks and cargo vans.

-Pull orders containing PVC piping and steel conduit.

-Use the shared warehouse email to request bill of landings.

-Become familiar with TOE and Hybris to look up inventory and perform cycle counts as necessary.

-Ship orders with US and FedEx ground.

-Call trucking companies to request tickets

-Answer phone calls to schedule incoming loads and gather the correct information about loads.

-Check in and put away incoming freight in a timely manner.

-Count entire product lines for physical inventory when applicable.

Pay Details: $19.00 per hour
