Crouse Hospital Financial Analyst Cash Mgmt in Syracuse, New York

Crouse’s Finance team assists department heads in analyzing the profitability of their departments, compiles and maintains the operating budgets, and ensures proper recording and payment of Hospital expenses. The Finance team is hiring a Cash Management Senior Financial Analyst to work ENTER SCHEDULE HERE.

Cash Management Senior Financial Analyst Position Responsibilities:
Responsible for the management of financial transactions and services as directed by the Director of Finance .
Acts as a liaison to banking institutions for the purpose of executing and recording all financial transactions for the Hospital and the related corporations.
Responsible for the compilation of cash inflows/outflows on a daily and monthly basis, as well as forecasting.
Responsible for verification of all deposits and revenue postings, and analysis of disbursement requirements.
Audits distribution from accounts payable, payroll, risk management, and refund cash accounts.
Accurately and efficiently oversees all tasks related to Cashiers and patient accounts to ensure timely delivery of services and maximum patient satisfaction.
Consistently compiles, analyzes and distributes reports detailing cash activity and proactively alerts department leadership of unusual/unexpected results.
Proactively assists department leadership with compilation and analysis of current patient and non-patient payment processing, self-pay refunds all payer 835 processing, Soarian/DataArk, Lawson daily processing and reconciliation of bank deposits.
Responsible for management of direct reports and their required operations
Cash Management Senior Financial Analyst Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Business required.
Minimum 3-5 years professional experience with cash management and healthcare billing/accounting.
Strong computer skills and knowledge including Microsoft Word and Excel.
