Description
Are you looking for a per diem or part time position to supplement your lifestyle and/or income?
Elmcrest Children’s Center has immediate openings for Direct Support Professionals whose primary responsibility is supporting individuals with developmental, medical, or mental health needs.
This position is unique in terms of compensation. Bi-weekly performance based bonuses are available to those who qualify, earning up to $20.00 / hour. This opportunity can be discussed in detail during the interview process.
Position Statement for DSP 1:
As a DSP 1, you will work under the direction of the Regional Supervisor. You will be responsible for providing Planned Respite and/or Caregiver/Family Supports and Services in a high quality manner to children and their families. The job duties include, but are not limited to:
scheduling visits with children and families
planning high-quality services that address the goals in the service plan
providing direct service to youth and families in care
documentation
In addition, you must be willing and able to work cooperatively with other professionals involved on each case. DSP 1 positions are either part time (10-29 hours weekly) or per diem (less than 10 hours weekly).
Base pay: $14.00 / hour with potential to earn up to $20.00 / hour
Qualifications
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent
Related experience working with individuals with developmental medical, or mental health needs
Ability to be flexible, empathetic, and work both independently and on a team
Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills, as well as a strong attention to detail
Effective problem-solving skills
Self-confidence and an ability to work with a variety of people
