SUNY Upstate Medical University Diagnostic Technologist in Syracuse, New York
Job Summary:
Under general supervision, performs routine diagnostic procedures and may have individual responsibility for training and leading the work of other employees, with the knowledge, intensity and responsibilities as specified on the attached Job Description/Performance Review. To identify each patient's requirements relative to his or her age specific needs. Willingly performs other duties as requested.
Minimum Qualifications:
AAS in Radiologic Technology or equivalent, NYS license/registration and ARRT (must obtain within 1 year of appointment), one year experience as a radiologic technologist, plus current CPR certification required.
*Candidates who possess an A.A.S. in Radiologic Technology or equivalent, NYS license or eligible, and no experience will be considered for appointment to an entry level (SL1) position. ARRT (must obtain within 1 year of appointment) preferred. CPR certification required at the time of appointment.

Night shift 10:30p-7a, Monday-Friday, rotating weekends, holidays and on-call coverage required.
