As our Venue Manager, you will pay close attention to all operational details to ensure the smooth running of the venue for our guests and our team, as well as the financial success of the establishment.

What you will be doing:

  • Further develop a culture of quality through training, leadership and presence.

  • Interact with guests to develop loyalty and exercise great customer relations.

  • Work with liquor vendors to develop new promotions for the venue.

  • Uphold BOH, FOH and hotel systems and procedures to ensure consistency and quality.

  • Maximise profitability of the venue through analysis of costs and sales mix.

  • Recruit, interview, hire, schedule and train staff.

About you:

  • Proven experience managing a high-volume cocktail bar.

  • Outstanding technical wine, cocktail, spirit and food knowledge.

  • Experience in all facets of bar operations, with sound beverage product knowledge.

  • Impeccable attention to detail and administration skills.

  • Strong financial acumen.

  • A positive and respectful leadership style that will set the benchmark for a dynamic team.

  • Excellent communication, multi-tasking and problem-solving skills.

  • A current NSW Responsible Service of Alcohol certificate and full Australian working rights.

  • This role requires the availability to work late evenings, weekdays, weekend and public holidays.
