The Opportunity
This an exciting opportunity within the Civil Team providing Utility engineering services to the Transport, Defence and Water Infrastructure Markets delivering projects including roads and rail infrastructure.
In this role you are responsible for study, design, specification and services of utilities infrastructure, specifically in the area of transport and water. Devise new approaches to problems encountered. Plans, schedules, and conducts work requiring judgment in the independent evaluation, selection, and adaptation of engineering techniques, procedures, and criteria. Perform work which involve conventional engineering practice but may include a variety of complex features such as conflicting design requirements, unsuitability of conventional materials, and difficult coordination requirements.
Who are you?
To be successful in this position you require a Bachelor of Engineering along with experience in design and/or practical experience in the coordination and delivery of utility designs and approvals throughout the design and construction process.
Working knowledge of commercial arrangements and relationships within the Utilities design and construction process.
Strong technical design ability specifically in the Utilities environment. AutoCAD, 12D, Civil3D, Navisworks highly regarded – not essential.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong practical knowledge of and commitment to health and safety
Chartered Status is Preferred
