Senior Commercial Manager
The Commercial Manager is responsible for reviewing, drafting and negotiating client contracts and agreements, including, but not limited to, state-wide software licensing agreements, add-on contracts, and confidentiality agreements. The Commercial Manager must be familiar with legal and commercial aspects of contracting and will responsible for identification and interpretation, as well as assisting with compliance with all aspects of contracting. The Commercial Manager is responsible for supporting the contracting components of RFP responses and ensures contract documents are consistent with internal finance quoting systems & secures appropriate approvals for contract documents.

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Juris Doctor (LLB) or related field, or 4 years relevant work experience, plus;
4 years’ experience or higher education, including;
2 years sales, licensed health care practice, healthcare information technology (HCIT) consulting and/or other client-facing or HCIT solution work experience
Degree in Business, Finance, Business Management or law
Understanding of contractual language and business impact
Experience in reviewing and interpreting a variety of complex contractual provisions and effectively communicating to stakeholders
Identifying and managing commercial issues and outcomes in contract negotiations
Demonstrated experience and success in contract negotiation (preferably in the IT or Healthcare fields)
Extensive experience in contract drafting
Extensive experience in management of post-signature contract requirements
Strong attention to detail
Strong relationship and communication skills
Ability to work independently without direct supervision
Exceptional decision making ability
Ability to handle multiple competing tasks and work requests, typically with short deadlines
Ability to travel as needed
