Join us as a Senior Account Manager where you will ensure the management and growth of the Health, Nutrition and Care (HNC) business of the most strategic and critical customer accounts. You will facilitate new business development and ensure continued demand for the company’s products and services through promotion, customer workshops, presentations, and delivering a high level of customer service. The position will cover the Dietary Supplements and Infant Nutrition Premix business in both Australia and New Zealand. Travel will be required within Oceania and Singapore every 3-4 months or as needed. The position reports to the Senior Director Sales Oceania, HNC.

Your key responsibilities

  • Manage Customer Relationships: Establish and maintain strong relationships with assigned accounts, delivering prompt and optimal service while addressing concerns in collaboration with Customer Care, Supply Chain, and Sales teams.

  • Identify and Develop Business Opportunities: Identify new business opportunities and work with internal teams to commercialize these opportunities, contributing to annual budget sales and profitability targets.

  • Account Planning and Management: Develop and maintain key account plans and annual pricing contracts, tracking progress and obtaining accurate customer forecasts for future sales and volumes.

  • Coordinate Pricing and Quotations: Coordinate with the regional commercial team to create quotations, provide approved pricing offers, and develop annual pricing contracts.

  • Utilize CRM System: Use the CRM system to capture customer projects, visit reports, and correspondence, ensuring accurate and up-to-date records.

  • Monitor Market and Competitor Activity: Keep abreast of competitor and market activity, share insights in monthly reporting and internal sales meetings, and identify and resolve any product or quality issues using the Customer Complaints Report (CCR) system.

    You bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Science, Food Technology or related area.

  • Minimum 10 years of Sales / Account Management experience in the nutrition/nutraceutical industry with proven track record of sales success and willingness to learn.

  • Knowledge of Dietary Supplement and/or Infant Nutrition industry in Australia/NZ and understanding of ingredients and/or manufacturing of products and/or applications highly advantageous.

  • Strong commercial acumen with excellent analytical and conceptual skills; capable of problem-solving and navigating within a matrix organization.

  • Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills; proficient in Microsoft Office and Teams; SAP experience preferred but not essential.

  • Passion for sales with the ability to work autonomously and build rapport with customers and colleagues; positive, self-motivated, and driven, especially in a remote environment.
