About the role

In the role of Reservation Agent you will be responsible for updating and managing the guest's reservation. Reporting to the Guest Relations Executive, you will be enjoying an inclusive working environment within a dynamic team that extends beyond the realms of Front Office.

This varied and dynamic role provides a chance to develop your professional hospitality career within an international company; either in Australia or overseas.

Main Responsibilities

  • Receive, capture and process requests for room reservations that arrive through all channels available to the hotel and corresponding to all business segments

  • Monitoring inventory of rooms

  • Ensure active Upselling in every sales call

  • Apply established Revenue Management strategies and tactics

Qualifications:

  • Good Computer Skills particularly in the use of MS Office.

  • Ability to work under pressure

  • Positive, can-do attitude

  • Diploma/certificate in Hospitality or Tourism Management is desirable

  • Knowledge of Opera/Fidelio is desirable

  • Preferable prerequisite knowledge of the Travel/Hotel industry but not essential
