The Opportunity:

Mission and Scope

Reporting to the Deputy Director Maritime Assurance Program, the Navy Logistics Information Systems (NLIS) Team are accountable for providing ongoing support and assurance and data analysis support within target ship-class enterprises, as well as support for NLIS Application uplift projects and onboarding new (and existing) customers into the NLIS application environment.

Responsibilities

As the KBR Project Lead, drawing on your expertise of the NLIS environment you will be responsible for providing onsite leadership and guidance for the NLIS contracted workforce, including (not limited to):

  • Accountable for execution of contracted work as defined in the project statement of work; adhering to budget, and to meet and/or exceed customer expectations.

  • Oversee day‐to‐day tasks and project plans and report status of project plans at regular intervals to all levels of leadership.

  • Implement and maintain continuous improvement activities.

  • Develop and manage a strong and effective working relationship with key stakeholders.

  • Work with KBR IWP Leads to develop business efficiencies and future workforce succession plans to ensure KBR’s ability to deliver MSP services in support of Defence Capability.

  • Coach, develop and support team members to ensure the project delivers accuracy, efficiency, and commercial business benefit.

  • Encourage safe work practices and embody KBR’s Zero Harm Policy in all aspects of work, including the championing KBR safety outcomes as part of KBR’s MSP day-to-day business activities.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience

Essential:

  • Degree in Business, Engineering or IT, or significant relevant work experience.

  • Experience in Defence Systems Environment.

  • Demonstrated Project Management and Service Delivery skills and experience.

  • Exceptional relationship and stakeholder management skills.

All candidates will be required to hold and maintain an active Baseline Defence Security Clearance. Only candidates holding a NV1 or above should apply.
