As the National Facilities Manager, you will be responsible for the overall delivery of safe, efficient, and cost-effective operations across a portfolio of large format retail assets for one key strategic client. Reporting to the National Portfolio Director and supported by a team of up to 5 Facility Managers, you will play a crucial role in developing and implementing industry best practice facilities management services across the portfolio.

Here's a snapshot of your day;

• Drive the portfolio’s performance through regular reviews, action plans and supporting FM team capability

• Support the delivery of the portfolio’s Strategic Asset Plans, with a focus on innovation and continuous improvement, technical services excellence, and operational and cost efficiency.

• Oversee the portfolio capital and project delivery ensuring that projects are completed within agreed timelines.

• Drive sustainability initiatives across the portfolio

• Embedding building compliance and safety, environmental including energy and water usage, waste recycling and key procurement and contractor management priorities

• Directly responsible for the facilities management of 2 retail assets within the national portfolio

Here are strengths you’ll possess and the background you’ll need to be successful:

• Extensive FM experience within a retail environment coupled with relevant tertiary qualification in property/engineering/trade

• Superior knowledge in Operational and Facilities Management and compliance requirements in various states across Australia.

• Demonstrated ability to lead and influence a remote team, initiating change, resolving performance issues and conflicts with a solution focused, client centric approach

• Sound financial acumen and stakeholder management skills

• Strong organisational and problem-solving skills with the ability to deliver results effectively
