CBRE Global Workplace Solutions, a leading global provider of integrated facilities and corporate real estate services, is hiring a Global Engineering & Facilities Management Director for our team in Sydney, Australia.

As the Global Engineering & Facilities Management Lead, you will be responsible for driving the standardization of best practices across our FM and Engineering portfolio for a renowned, key financial client. This includes managing a team that oversees FM and Engineering services in 4 regions, 30 countries, and 80 client locations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Work closely with key client stakeholders to ensure successful delivery of CBRE contractual operational requirements.

• Manage and communicate effectively with the team to deliver all FM and Engineering services in line with contractual requirements.

• Ensure operations are compliant with local standards and regulations, as well as client and CBRE requirements.

• Drive efficient and safe operation and maintenance of engineering systems.

• Collaborate with regional and global teams to improve operational delivery and achieve operational excellence.

• Implement sustainability initiatives and ensure compliance with environmental regulations and standards.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 10 years leadership experience in banking & finance facilities or critical engineering environments.

• Strong understanding of critical environment, electrical, and HVAC infrastructure.

• Thorough knowledge of WHS risk management.

• Degree in mechanical and electrical engineering preferred.

• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

• Strong communication and presentation skills.

• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.

• Contractually astute and able to work within contractual requirements.
