This is a hands-on finance position responsible for Real Estate fund accounting and administration, including financial reporting, cash management and tax reporting for client portfolios

The opportunity;

• Key client contact and ensuring delivery of all reporting for allocated client portfolio.

• Prepare Prop Co and Holdco reporting and financial statements based on client requirements.

• Prepare consolidation accounts as needed.

• To provide bespoke financial analysis reporting as per client requirements e.g. cashflow reporting.

• Perform review of property managers’ financial statements

• Preparation of BAS and Income Tax returns.

• Preparation of annual standalone and consolidated financial statements in accordance with AIFRS/IFRS

• Dividend / distribution calculations, coordination with client appointed tax advisor on approved distribution and management of cashflow process.

• Support the business on onboarding of new clients/new portfolio from accounting perspective

About you;

• You will have a professional accounting qualification (e.g. CA or CPA)

• Experience in preparing financial statements and accounting for transactions in accordance with AIFRS.

• 3-5 years of experience in Real Estate Fund Accounting

• Working knowledge of Australian Income Tax and Capital Gain Tax would be advantageous.

• Experience of the MRI and Yardi systems would be advantageous.

• Excellent communication and organisation skills
