Google Cyber Security Consulting Manager, Mandiant Consulting, Google Cloud in Sydney, Australia

Minimum qualifications:

  • Certification in Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP).

  • 8 years of experience delivering cyber outcomes, identifying risks, and devising solutions to combat public sector focused threats.

  • 8 years of experience assessing and developing cybersecurity solutions and programs across security domains.

  • Experience working with the sales leadership and external contacts to drive consulting business generation.

  • Experience in cyber security with a risk assessment focus.

  • Experience with people management.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Certification in Cybersecurity (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CRISC).

  • Experience in performing engagement enablement including scoping engagements, structuring customized engagements based on client’s request, proposal writing, and drafting statements of work.

  • Experience articulating security and risk-related concepts to all audiences, including executives.

  • Ability to set and manage expectations, and establish rapport with clients, especially at executive levels including C-Level executives.

  • Excellent leadership skills, with the ability to prioritize and execute in a methodical and disciplined manner engaging internal stakeholders, whilst enabling a multi-disciplined, multi-cultural, multi-regional workforce.

  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills.

We are looking for a motivated and experienced consulting manager to drive our regional consulting delivery team to further build our brand and business.

Our goal is to help our customers assess, design, and build confidence about their readiness to combat advanced threats. You will have a strong network of contacts in the region, possess solid consulting skills and have a focus on developing and following opportunities.

As a Cyber Security Consulting Manager, you will be adept at business development, while working with our customers in the delivery of high-value consulting engagements for the private and public sector. You will lead a team of strategic services consultants, and will report directly to the executive regional leader.

  • Build and nurture relationships with C-level executives to identify cybersecurity needs, secure new consulting engagements, and provide strategic guidance throughout project lifecycles.

  • Manage and own the success of the strategic services cybersecurity service line in the APAC region. Act as the subject matter expert, ensuring alignment with global standards while tailoring solutions to local market needs.

  • Refine business processes, methodologies, and client communication strategies to enhance service delivery and client satisfaction.

  • Identify opportunities to create or refine service offerings tailored to the specific requirements of the APAC market. Collaborate with regional teams for seamless integration and implementation.

  • Deliver training programs and share knowledge to enhance team capabilities and maintain the highest level of cybersecurity expertise within the region.
