Kuehne+Nagel Contract Logistics Site Supervisor in Sydney, Australia

In this role, you'll oversee daily operations, ensuring projects are completed on time and to the highest standards. Your Role

You will be responsible for the overall performance of an operational site in order to achieve all agreed financial + operational objectives.

Your Responsibilities

What you will be responsible for:

  • To manage, plan, organize, staff, + direct warehouse activities at the site.

  • To achieve your key performance indicators (KPI) in the areas of cost management, productivity, customer service + profit.

  • To ensure your teams deliver against their customer, site + people KPIs.

  • To drive all activities relating to customer on-boarding, retention + operational excellence by collaborating at a site level.

  • To drive productivity via engagement activities to create new initiatives focusing on continuous improvement at all times, ensuring your site meets or exceeds it’s productivity targets.

  • To contribute information required for tenders/proposals to support closing of new business.

  • To oversee the safe operation of warehousing activities across the site, ensuring the correct skills + training are in place + are compliant with health/safety/environment legislation + standards.

  • To undertake any other tasks required by management.

Your Skills and Experiences

Additionally, you will possess:

  • A minimum of five years' experience in a local transport or 3PL organization is required.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential.

  • Outstanding problem-solving skills.

  • Solid understanding of safety processes and protocols.

  • Strong work ethic and ability to collaborate effectively.
