The Role

As part of an ambitious but achievable reform program being undertaken by our Defence client, your role as Business Process Author will see you support the development of and provide data entry for a suite of processes which enable optimisation focused on maritime sustainment.

The key responsibilities of the role will include, but is not limited to:

  • Data entry and maintenance of existing data in business management systems

  • Ensure data accuracy and standardisation amongst Defence business processes and business objects

  • Provide support and input as required for process development activities.

  • Ensure that processes are consistently documented using Business Process Model and Notation (BPMN) standards and process modelling tools.

  • Document processes following the team's Process Governance and Architecture practices defining business rules and templates.

Required Qualifications, Experience and Knowledge

Essential:

  • Experienced in the use of MS Visio and other MS Office products.

  • Experience in creating flow and logic diagrams.

  • Data entry

  • Defence Security Clearance – Baseline (or higher)

Desirable:

  • Experience/Understanding of Business Analysis methodologies.

  • Previous exposure to Defence/Maritime sustainment processes/activities is highly regarded.

  • Experience working in a Defence network/systems environment.
