WTW Business Analyst - Transformation (6 month contract) in Sydney, Australia

We're recruiting for an experienced Business Analyst to support a high-profile transformation initiative in our organisation . Critical to your success in this role will be your strategic and analytical thinking, expert problem-solving and coaching abilities, and ability to communicate with diverse stakeholders.

You will be responsible for identifying and documenting business analysis deliverables including requirements specifications, process and data models, and be able to provide recommendations relating to the high-level options available to meet those requirements.

This role will be a six-month contract.

The Role

  • Business Requirements

  • Engage with stakeholders to understand their needs and document business requirements.

  • Conduct interviews, workshops, and surveys to gather comprehensive requirements.

  • Translate business needs into clear high level business requirements, and detailed user stories and acceptance criteria.

  • Develop detailed user stories that articulate the functional and non-functional requirements.

  • Define and document acceptance criteria for each user story to ensure the delivered solution meets business needs.

  • Prioritise user stories and work with the local Product Leads and UK-based Product Owner and Development team to ensure they are understood and implemented correctly.

  • Product Templates and Content Backloading

  • Design and develop insurance product templates (Excel-based) to cover insurance product question sets and business rules.

  • Maintain and update templates as needed to reflect changes in insurance products and business processes.

  • Provide training and support to other users on how to manage the product templates effectively.

  • Transfer insurance questionnaire renewal content from the existing system to a new system accurately and efficiently.

  • Ensure data integrity and consistency during the migration process.

  • User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and Post Go-Live Verification Testing

  • Plan and execute User Acceptance Testing to validate that the system meets the defined requirements.

  • Identify, document, and track issues discovered during UAT.

  • Coordinate and participate in go-live verification testing activities to ensure a smooth transition to production.

  • Provide post-go-live support to address any issues that may arise.

  • Excellent communication skills with strong stakeholder management experience across a broad range of dispersed and senior stakeholders

  • Strong ability to work through periods of ambiguity and understand complex issues to support business understanding and delivery

  • Have excellent planning and organising skills with project management capability.

  • Self-motivated, autonomous & self-starter

  • Collaborative and a team player
