ABOUT THIS ROLE
As our catalog offerings expand, we are looking for a highly organized and passionate individual to work with our newly appointed Senior Director of Programming and Audience Development, APAC. In this newly established role, you will support the Director of Programing and Audience Development, APAC, through content planning, program budgeting and cross functional collaboration for the three marketplaces – Australia, India and Japan.

As an Associate Director, Programming APAC you will...
Support in the development of the content strategy and programming efforts in Australia, India and Japan
Under the guidance from the Director, Programming and Audience Development, APAC collaborate closely with the content teams and other cross functional teams, to manage our programs in each of the three marketplaces
Manage slate planning, tracking goals, reporting on progress and supplying data analysis to key stakeholders to inform decisions
Support the Director with creating materials for the local originals commissioning process, including materials for internal and external partners to source projects, information for green lighting, plus data and budget information
Support the establishment of appropriate budgets, the prioritization of projects and on-going budget tracking to create reporting to monitor and optimize our content success and financial efficiency
Collaborate cross-functionally with Content Development and Production teams, as well as Marketing and PR, to plan and execute against global content tentpoles and across a portfolio of local Audible Originals
Work cross functionally with our financial department, our data analytics team, marketing & PR specialists as well as our content creation and global acquisition teams to support in developing innovative content and programming ideas
Provide recommendations and support to the Director, Programming and Audience Development, APAC, using insights and analysis
Regularly summarise and communicate results and status quo on projects to update leadership and the content team
Manage and lead content-led cross functional meetings, communication and documentation to ensure the best results for projects

Basic Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or similar
Experience in programming, content success monitoring or analytical position in a media entertainment company
Experience managing and reporting on budgets
Experience defining, developing, and utilizing data-driven metrics and qualitative information to make business decisions
Experience multi-tasking projects and prioritizing multiple demands
Preferred Qualifications
Experience or strong interest in spoken word audio entertainment
Pop-culture savvy
Creative, and analytical thinker and problem solver
Ability to prioritize key initiatives and manage timelines
Strong instinct for stories and experiences that will appeal to listeners
Comfortable in a fast-paced environment
Strong collaboration and communication skills
