The Role

We are looking for a competent and charismatic Facilities Manager to take a lead role overseeing our Sydney CBD, Melbourne, and New Zealand office spaces- environments that boast a fun work culture and free lunches for all staff.

Supported by a Facilities Coordinator and based in their flashy Sydney CBD office, you will oversee all hard and soft services including workplace management and minor projects, where no two days are ever the same!

A typical day may involve:

  • End-to-end management of planned maintenance and workplace functions within the Sydney, Melbourne and NZ offices.

  • Liaising with contractors, landlords, and key client stakeholders for site inspections, access, and to deliver contracted services.

  • Assisting with budgeting and reporting.

  • Overseeing the good work of the Facilities Coordinator in event coordination, mailroom activities and handling of purchase orders / invoicing.

  • Assisting with occasional minor projects on an ad-hoc basis.

  • Managing the on-site food program and cleaning vendor.

  • Ensuring that all contractors and on-site services operate compliantly and within fire regulations and associated building codes.

  • Exploring new ways to improve processes and operations, taking ideas from the Facilities teams in other regions and sharing best practices.

  • Upholding exemplary standards of customer service, maintaining clear communication with CBRE staff, client stakeholders and external contractors.

Requirements

  • (ESSENTIAL) Facilities Manager with experience across soft services.

  • (ESSENTIAL) Ability to work autonomously and stand as the key FM contact for the region.

  • (ESSENTIAL) Fun, friendly, charismatic and sociable attitude.

  • (PREFERRED) Exposure to minor projects e.g. renovations, office fit-outs, equipment upgrades.

  • Experience managing direct reports is preferred, but not essential.

  • Full working rights in Australia for a permanent position.
