Adecco is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Entry-Level Quality Control Microbiology Technician to join our team in Swiftwater, PA. This position is 100% onsite and supports the execution of routine testing in the Quality Control Microbiology laboratory. The role involves adhering strictly to site work instructions, Federal Regulations, cGMP, and company policies and procedures. If you are interested please read the summary and qualifcaitions.

• Pay Rate: $26.72 per hour

• Assignment Type: Temporary

• Work Hours: 1st Shift, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM EST, Monday - Friday

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform routine microbiological testing and support production, method validation, and stability programs.

• Utilize general microbiological techniques, including aseptic processing and culturing of bacterial and viral isolates.

• Maintain safety and compliance within the laboratory, including cleaning of laboratories, equipment, and ancillary areas.

• Attend and contribute to team, department, and safety meetings.

• Develop a working knowledge of relevant compendia and regulatory guidance.

• Participate in various phases of Quality Control testing, including visual evaluation of vials, syringes, plates, bottles, and canisters.

• Setup and breakdown of equipment, documentation, waste disposal, and other assigned activities.

• The candidate must pass an eye exam and receive vaccinations as part of the job requirements.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree or Master's Degree in Microbiology or Biological Sciences.

• 3-5 years of academic experience or relevant coursework; prior Quality Control experience is desirable.

• Knowledge of microbiological techniques, tissue culture, sterility, or bioburden is preferred.

• Exceptional attention to detail and strong writing skills are essential.

• Familiarity with cGMP guidelines.

• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.

• Fully vaccinated as required for job responsibilities.

Pay Details: $25.00 to $26.72 per hour
