Due to continued growth and customer demand, we are hiring an Engineer Supervisor who will be based in Suzhou to support CCS business segment. The candidate is responsible for leading a team to meet customer requirements and maintain and enhance quality and process improvement objectives.

How You'll Help Us Connect the World

As an Engineer Supervisor, you will be responsible for managing and optimizing fiber production process. You will lead a team to ensure the efficiency, quality, and safety of the production processes to meet company and customer requirements.

  1. Processes Management:

  • Oversee and guide fiber assembly processes.

  • Ensure production processes comply with company quality standards and customer specifications.

  1. Processes Optimization:

  • Analyze existing production processes to identify and resolve yield issues and bottlenecks.

  • Implement continuous improvement projects (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma) to enhance production efficiency and quality.

  1. Quality Control:

  • Maintain and monitor quality control procedures to ensure products meet industry standards and customer requirements.

  • Collaborate with the quality team to conduct root cause analysis and develop corrective actions.

  1. Equipment Maintenance:

  • Supervise the maintenance and upkeep of production equipment to ensure optimal performance.

  • lead the maintenance team to resolve equipment issues and minimize downtime.

  1. Team Management:

  • Manage and mentor a team of engineers and technicians, providing necessary training and career development support.

  • Conduct performance evaluations and motivate staff to achieve goals.

  1. Collaboration and Communication:

  • Collaborate with production, quality, procurement, logistics and other departments to ensure timely and accurate resource and information flow.

  • Participate in cross-departmental meetings to provide professional insights on production processes.

Required Qualifications and Experience for Consideration

1.Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field, preferably in Mechanical Engineering, Materials Engineering and related engineering background.

2.At least 3 years of experience in fiber production or related manufacturing fields, preferably in managerial role.

3.Familiarity with fiber manufacturing processes and relevant standards (ISO 9001, TL 9000).

4.Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

5.Lean, Six Sigma certification is preferred.

6.Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, capable of effectively managing and motivating a team.

7.Good communication skills in both English and Chinese, with the ability to report and discuss technical information.
