Microsoft Corporation Software Development Engineer 2 in Suzhou, China

SharePoint Server is one of the most successful and profitable Microsoft Products ever with hundreds of millions of enterprise customers. Customers that depend on us, daily, to do their work. The SharePoint Server team, in Suzhou, has a great opportunity to help drive the future of SharePoint’s UI. We are looking for an engineer that can work with teams across the world to drive end-to-end UI improvements for our customers.

Responsibilities

We are seeking strong software engineers the SharePoint Server center of excellence in Suzhou, China. As a key technical member of the team you will:

  1. Help to define the technical direction of the team and drive UI/UX improvements end-to-end.

  2. Instill quality and excellence into the team culture by leading design and implementation efforts.

Qualifications

BS/MS degree in computer science or related field

3+ years of experience building, deploying, and supporting large scale applications and services

Excellent problem solving, design, coding, and debugging skills

Strong TypeScript, JavaScript, C# or C/C++/Java coding skills

Development experience with web-based UI technologies

Experience with system level programming and native/managed code interoperation

Strong cross-group collaboration skills

Experience with SharePoint development is highly desired

Experience with mobile development is desired
