Philips Advanced Mechanical Engineer-Cooling in Suzhou, China

Job title: Advanced Mechanical Engineer - Cooling

Purpose:

To develop the next generation of cover platform, and own the cabinet design, including cooling product (LCC), to support the entire MR platform.

Accountabilities:

  • Own the cabinet design including DACC and LCC cabinet, including its inner piping design.

  • Responsible for the development of system cover platform and magnet pre-assembly parts.

  • Responsible for life cycle management and continuously quality improvement on owned parts.

  • Develops the work with focus on user and business requirements, compliance, quality, and cost.

  • Responsible for delivering input in the planning process to the project manager.

  • Draws up personal schedules and reports on progress in a structured and methodical way.

Requirements:

  • Minimal bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering (>6 years), master’s degree is preferred.

  • Good knowledge at machining, sheet metal, VAC form etc., and successful product experience at cabinet, cover, cooling product etc.

  • Knowledge in Fluid mechanics, heat transfer, thermal design.

  • Experience in 3D/2D drawings design by CAD software e.g. PTC Creo.

  • Experience in calculation and simulation of strength and thermal (Static/dynamic analysis).

  • Knowledge in Medical device regulatory requirement in ISO13485, IEC6060-1 add points.

  • Knowledge in V-model, design maturity, six sigma, dFMEA, design for reliability add points.
