Job Title: Production Worker

Job Description

Working in the Material Cutting Department, you will be responsible for rubber hand cutting of rolls of material, measuring parts, trimming and cutting parts, and performing quality control checks by measuring size and checking for defects.

Work Environment

You will be working in the Urethane Production Department or the Material Cutting Department within a fast-paced, 'Go-GO-GO' environment. Good communication skills are essential. The facility is an indoor plastics production site with approximately 50 employees, offering a multicultural team. The production floor is open with bay doors and proper ventilation. Note that individuals with plastic allergies may not thrive in this environment. The standard shift is Monday to Thursday, 5am-3:30pm.

Responsibilities

• Rubber hand cutting of rolls of material

• Measuring parts

• Trimming and cutting parts

• Quality control of parts by measuring size and checking for defects

• Removing parts from router and molds

• Checking router and molds for defects

• Cleaning molds

Essential Skills

• 6+ months of manufacturing experience in a heavy industrial setting

• Experience using tools such as hand drills, skill saws, chop saws, sanders, hammers, and measuring tapes

• Steel Toe Work Boots
