Hyundai America Technical Center Inc Test Support Administrator in Superior Township, Michigan
Hyundai America Technical Center, Inc. (HATCI) is looking for a Test Support Administrator at our Superior Township, MI location. Essential Duties and Responsibilities, including but not limited to: Working in an automotive prototype development environment. Assist with vehicle shipping logistics: Coordinate local shipping pickup/drop off times. Work with HATCI customs broker to coordinate international vehicle shipments. Keep track of in transit vehicles for test schedule planning. Manage ordering test lab consumable stocks: Check and order regularly used test consumables. Order other consumable items as requested. Write test reports: Maintain and modify report templates as needed. Use templates to create reports by finding and consolidating test data from multiple physical and electronic sources. Manage maintenance and calibration schedules: Manage shipping to and from calibration labs. Enter calibration and maintenance records into database. Work with technicians to ensure all test equipment calibrations are up to date. Coordinate vendors and purchases with internal teams: Submit purchase and vendor request forms to internal HATCI teams. Follow up with vendors and internal teams to ensure purchase orders and invoices are correctly sent. Other Responsibilities: Work with technicians to document new instrumentation in database as it is received. Parts and equipment ordering. Maintain office equipment and tools. Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment. Familiarity with basic VBA coding and excel macros is a plus. Strong organizational skills. Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and demonstrate integrity and ethical behavior.
