The Vision Pro FaceTime Team is looking for software engineers to help us build one of Apple’s most personal communication experiences on our next generation spatial computing platform, visionOS. As an engineer on the Vision Pro FaceTime team, you will play a significant role in defining and building the FaceTime experience on Apple’s spatial computing platform - pushing you to think outside the box and work closely with designers and system software teams to solve incredibly challenging problems.
Description
The Vision Pro FaceTime team is focused on building the FaceTime system experience on Apple's new visionOS platform. This team works on deeply integrating FaceTime & SharePlay on visionOS, as well as delivering the Spatial Personas experience that fosters real-time spatial collaboration and communication. As a member of our team you will help us in crafting future experiences that will delight, inspire and empower millions of people. We work mostly in Swift, SwiftUI to build 2D interfaces for FaceTime on visionOS. Successful engineers will be prepared to work from the UI down to the networking, protocols and system integration layers.
Minimum Qualifications
3-5 years of experience in apps development
Proficiency at least one programming language
Experience using Apple development tools and APIs
Key Qualifications
Preferred Qualifications
Experience using Apple frameworks and technologies (such as UIKit, Swift, SwiftUI, Core Animation, AVFoundation).]
Track record of building and shipping complex and delightful applications or user-facing systems on consumer platforms (mobile/gaming/etc.).
Extensive experience in modern software engineering practices (Object-oriented programming, functional programming, declarative user interfaces, test driven-development, etc).
Excellent communication skills; ability to collaborate successfully with peers from diverse experiences and backgrounds.
Ability to drive results in a fast-paced and agile organization.
Passionate about great user experiences.

At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $143,100 and $264,200, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple’s discretionary employee stock programs.
