Google Technical Program Manager, Cyber Security in Sunnyvale, California

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.

  • 2 years of experience managing projects.

  • 2 years of experience in cloud computing emerging technologies or related technical fields.

Preferred qualifications:

  • 5 years of experience with security systems or in a related field.

  • 2 years of experience in technical and product program management related to system integration in managing projects.

  • Experience with BMS, PMS, data center operations and cyber security to lead program quantifying and reducing cyber risks to the data center systems.

  • Knowledge of Data Center Operational and Life-cycle Management.

  • Ability to work in a driven organization with dual focus on engineering excellence and product execution.

As a Technical Program Manager at Google, you’ll use your technical expertise to lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish. You’ll work with stakeholders to plan requirements, identify risks, manage project schedules, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company. You're equally comfortable explaining your team's analyses and recommendations to executives as you are discussing the technical tradeoffs in product development with engineers.

As Technical Program Manager, you will lead exploration, development, pilot, validation, deployment, and growth of new products supporting sustainable projects that enable global data centers security, controls and service deployments.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $122,000-$178,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.   • Manage data center security and services, and drive engagement with key industry wide security software and hardware system partners.

  • Own security operations, vulnerability management, and incident response aspects of the cyber security of DC Operational Technology (OT).

  • Work with partners to develop sustainable programs for software deployment, vulnerability detection, and management/incident response.

  • Support OT cyber operations, vulnerability management, and incident response.

  • Run multiple projects from inception through completion using the Product Life-Cycle (PLC) process, understand dependency of the work-streams with other partner teams, and review teams priority to align with the project.
