Key job responsibilities

Responsibilities Will Include:

· Create and maintain multiple, concurrent and matrixed program plans

· Negotiate resources and work timelines to ensure on-time completion and deliver desired business results

· Assess risks, anticipate bottlenecks, provide escalation management, balance the business needs versus technical constraints and encourage risk-taking behavior to maximize business benefit

· Communicates status risks, and changes of program milestones to a large user population and senior business leaders

· Initiation Program Test Execution, tracking of deliveries and align with the milestones with cross functional teams

· Analyze and report out on assessment data to stakeholders. Consolidate and produce metrics that reflect success or failure criteria, and recommend solutions to remove barriers.

· Navigate multiple assessment systems to deploy, track and troubleshoot assessments

· Serve as primary POC for internal beta feedback analysis

· Monitoring Crash dashboard post launch and flagging any anomalies in the crash reports

· Responsible for creating status reports with internal and cross functional teams for weekly/monthly reviews with leadership teams

· Surface opportunities to innovate to continuously improve organizational efficiency

A day in the life

We are looking for a highly motivated and independent leader to own program management for the Echo Devices Team.

The ideal candidate will have experience in technology organizations, are passionate about serving their clients, have excellent problem solving abilities, and are able to influence without authority across all levels of the organizational hierarchy. The ideal candidate will have strong program management, communication and analytical skills; the ability to drive decision making while challenging the status quo; and experience driving large scale, matrixed global projects that have significant impact on the customer and wider organization.

Basic Qualifications

  • 5+ years of program or project management experience

  • Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements

  • Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership

Preferred Qualifications

  • 2+ years of driving process improvements experience

  • Master's degree, or MBA in business, operations, human resources, adult education, organizational development, instructional design or related field

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $104,100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $185,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
