Title: RF Connectivity Engineer (3D EM Level Simulation)
Location: Sunnyvale, CA
Duration: Vendor

Hours: Minimum 40 Hours/Week
Role:
• Connectivity RFHW design with expertise in one or more of the following areas: GPS, NFC, WiFi, BT, UWB
• Understand HW design process and capable of driving PDP from early prototyping, tuning, validation, and certification in specific areas.
• Provide guidance and leadership to RF design activities for internal and external teams.
• RF Schematic and layout design and review, RF tuning and optimization.
• Perform simulations for RF design (3D EM and circuit level simulations) is a plus
• Good communicator and collaborator. Work closely with internal and external cross-functional teams to ensure meets the specs at the component, board, and system level.
• Drive factory proto build and resolve issue and FA
Skills:
• 3+ years of experience with RF connectivity for wireless consumer electronics or similar industry such as infotainment.
• Experience with WLAN, BT, GPS, NFC, UWB circuits, modules, and test specifications
• Experience with RF equipment such as network analyzers, communication testers (Litepoint, CMW500, Anritsu, etc.), spectrum analyzers, power meters, near field scanners, etc.
• Experience designing radios for consumer electronic devices is a plus.
• Experience with PCB layout and schematic capture for RF circuits is a plus.
• Experience RF concepts such as impedance matching, Smith Charts is a plus.
• Experience using simulation tools such as Ansys Electronics Desktop HFSS, Keysight ADS, Genesis or National Instrument Microwave office is a plus.
Education: BSEE or related engineering discipline.

Salary range for this position is $65/hr to $90/hr (Equivalent to 130k to 182k). Compensation offered will be determined by factors such as location, level, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
