We are looking for a Quality Engineer specializing in UI, Rest API testing and automation. As a Quality Engineer your expertise should include strong programming skills with Python, proficiency in UI automation frameworks like Playwright, experience with CI/CD pipelines, excellent understanding of QA methodologies, and the ability to design and execute comprehensive UI test cases, including cross-browser compatibility testing and responsive design validation.

Rate: $75 - $80 / hr. w2

Responsibilities:

• Setting up regression jobs in Jenkins

• Manual testing

• Running regression jobs & scheduling jobs

• Setting up lab hosts required for testing

• Contribute to improving test automation / scripts for automating work flows / features etc.

• Playing a key role in qualifying team releases.

• Collaboration with development and QA team to ensure requirements are understood, achievable and tested.

• Working with engineering team to deeply understand their technology and develop test plan for various features.

• Co-ordinating test efforts across multiple teams for new/existing features. Bug reporting and isolation, call out critical bugs and work with developer to prioritize fixes.

• Setting up different QA hosts in lab - Restore devices for each environment for different build trains required for feature testing, longevity testing / performance testing and regression.

• Investigating and debugging difficult problems and help drive them to closure.

• Being a vocal proponent for quality in every phase of the development process.

Experience Requirements:

• Strong knowledge of bash scripts and Python scripts

• Troubleshooting and debugging, basic knowledge about Jenkins for setting up regression

• QA manual testing / automation experience

Skills, experience, and other compensable factors will be considered when determining pay rate. The pay range provided in this posting reflects a W2 hourly rate; other employment options may be available that may result in pay outside of the provided range.
