Google Program Manager III, NPI Process Excellence, Cloud in Sunnyvale, California

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.

  • 5 years of experience in program or project management.

  • 5 years of experience in project management to launch Hardware New Product Introduction process for electronics (e.g., Server, racks, L6, L10 and L11 manufacturing).

Preferred qualifications:

  • MBA or Master's degree in Engineering.

  • 5 years of experience managing cross-functional or cross-team projects.

  • Experience with Planning, Manufacturing Operations, Logistics, Material Management and Planning, supply chain design, and strategy.

  • Experience with materials supply chain management.

As a Program Manager at Google, you’ll lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish — working with stakeholders to plan requirements, manage project schedules, identify risks, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company. Your projects will often span offices, time zones, and hemispheres. It's your job to coordinate the players and keep them up to date on progress and deadlines.

In this role, you will enable Cloud Supply Chain New Product Introduction operational imperatives of improved predictability, reduced time to market, increased cost and inventory oversight, and reduced product and portfolio risk.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $139,000-$207,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.   • Work with hardware development teams to execute on process implementation and overhaul across the Cloud Supply Chain Organization (CSCO).

  • Form and align vertical program teams to include definitions of goals and metrics, facilitating program sessions, and delivering outcomes for NPI operation and supply chain program management roles.

  • Identify and deliver on supply chain risk, resilience and cost management process, tools, and system improvement opportunities.

  • Execute change management for metrics and capabilities adoption and transition to run the business activities.

  • Provide strategic guidance and disruptive leadership across the organization and Cloud's Hardware NPI portfolio.
