Meta Inventory Operations Planner in Sunnyvale, California

Summary:

In this role you will collaborate across the supply chain to drive order management excellence and optimize the end-to-end flow of finished goods inventory. Reporting to the Inventory Operations Manager, this is a key role within the Inventory Operations team responsible for steering the order pipeline, balancing inventory availability, and planning fulfillment capacity to meet customer demand. The Inventory Operations Planner position is a complex and high-impact role requiring an individual who can effectively navigate intricate supply chain problems through cross-functional collaboration, hands-on data analysis, and system management to ultimately deliver results with a tenacious passion for doing “what it takes”.

Required Skills:

Inventory Operations Planner Responsibilities:

  1. Responsible for all activities required to commit, book, and release all customer orders (Retail, Direct-To-Consumer, Distributor, Commercial, etc) through to Third Party Logistics providers (3PLs)

  2. Oversight of both planned and received orders, ensuring optimal consumption of available inventory and capacity, managing resources to drive orders through our supply chain and systems on-time. Understands account management processes and customer policies in order to ensure successful order management execution

  3. Manages, maintains and models the data flow between supply planning, channel replenishment, and logistics to ensure maximum inventory turnover and on-time delivery

  4. Responsible for the creation and communication of regional weekly and monthly warehouse capacity models and end-to-end fulfillment reports

  5. Accountable for reporting, driving corrective action, and presenting regional Inventory Operations key metrics and targets such as OTD, OTIF, daily supply availability alongside other key performance management metrics with a key focus on orderbook health

  6. Supports internal and external customers in Network Readiness and Operational Execution, specifically around new product launches and periods of high demand

  7. Leads and supports continuous improvement projects to ensure optimal execution and on-time delivery

Minimum Qualifications:

  1. Knowledge of end-to-end supply chain, supply planning, third party logistics providers management and outbound distribution

  2. Advanced knowledge in Excel, including experience to create and manipulate complex spreadsheets, experience with pivot tables and other intricate modeling

  3. Experience with engaging with and extracting data from ERP systems (specifically regarding inventory transactions and order management)

  4. Effective communication skills with a proven experience to effectively manage and build relationships with stakeholders. Experience to effectively and assertively convey information and ideas to both internal and external teams at all levels

  5. Proven experience in utilizing fact-based analysis and rational thinking to influence and drive decision-making

  6. Demonstrated experience to prioritize and multi-task in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a proven sense of urgency, accuracy, and follow-through

  1. University BS or MS in supply chain, industrial engineering or related field

  2. Experience in close engagement and management of third party fulfillment partners

  3. Knowledge of Oracle or other ERP systems

  4. 1+ years of experience in relevant Planning, Logistics or Fulfillment Operations role, preferably in Consumer Electronics

  5. Experience with queries, SQL, or VBA Macros

Public Compensation:

$113,000/year to $163,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits
