Google Business Insights Lead, Real Estate Workplace Services in Sunnyvale, California

Minimum qualifications:

  • Master's degree or equivalent practical experience in data visualization, information architecture, competitive intelligence, or content strategy

  • Experience leading or working on teams in collaboration with product

Preferred qualifications:

  • Demonstrated ability to mentor teams and individuals to deliver a high level of performance without direct authority

  • Ability to manage multiple competing priorities in a fast-paced, constantly changing environment

  • Effective analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills

  • Proven leadership, influencing, collaboration, and communication skills, with a high level of comfort communicating to all levels of leadership

As the Business Insights Lead in Real Estate and Workplace Services (REWS), you will be responsible for driving a program that translates business and user intelligence into actionable insights that REWS programs will leverage to shape the spaces and services that make Google a great place to come to work everyday. You will drive the vision and strategy for how we author and curate business and user insights for REWS teams around the world. You will be expected to drive the development of business intelligence solutions that improve the discover-ability and usability of business and user insights across multiple platforms, ensuring that this core business knowledge is seamlessly integrated into our service strategies. These solutions will come in a variety of forms, ranging from workplace performance dashboards, product area market reports, educational programming on Googlers’ user needs, etc.

The Real Estate and Workplace Services (REWS) team creates inspiring spaces and innovative services that bring Google’s culture and values to life. We build and maintain all aspects of what keeps our Googley workspaces operating seamlessly across multiple cities and regions globally. We also manage the industry-leading services that help make Google a great place to work -- from how we design healthy and collaborative workspaces, create energizing food experiences, provide convenient transportation and fitness options, to delivering inclusive environments where Google and our employees can thrive.

  • Lead and maintain strategic development for a function within the REWS ecosystem

  • Build information products for business and workplace insights that curate a myriad of information sources together in one place for a variety of REWS users and use cases

  • Collaborate with subject matter experts, analysts, and communications teams to define data and content needs and develop excellent business intelligence for internal audiences

  • Drive vision and execution for each resource, using content, data visualization, and illustration that will support knowledge needs for cross-functional partners within REWS and partner ecosystems

  • Be an expert and trusted advisor on business and user insights
