Robert Half Accounting Manager in Sunny Isles, Florida

Description

Are you a Senior Accountant or Accounting Manager ready for a high growth role? Our client is a stable servicing company, and we are seeking a breakout candidate who can be promotable to management or a manager ready to become Controller in a years time. The culture is family oriented, with a professional demeanor and has owners who value their employees. The role will be reporting to the Owners and current CFO with daily accounting functions, setting up policies and procedures and will have a seat at the table as it relates to day-to-day accounting and future process.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting required; CPA/CPA Eligible preferred but not mandatory

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in similar role with QuickBooks experience and full financial statement responsibility for month end close and all accounting activities.

  • Proficiency in:

  • Balance Sheet reconciliations, financial statement creation

  • Cash Forecasting and management

  • Month-end close processes including revenue and expense accruals

  • Financial statement preparation, budgeting, cash flow forecasting, and analytical reporting

  • Familiarity with commercial leasing software; experience with Zoho- a strong plus

Skills:

  • Strong general accounting skills

  • Experience in month-end close processes

  • Ability to design and implement internal controls

  • Proficiency in financial reporting

  • Accounts receivable and accounts payable management

  • Cash flow management

  • Knowledge of collection processes

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

    Requirements • Proficiency in accounting software systems

• Experience with ADP - Financial Services

• Familiarity with Concur software

• Knowledge in ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning

• Understanding of various accounting functions

• Ability to manage accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR)

• Experience in auditing procedures

• Capability to handle billing functions

• Proficiency in month-end close procedures

• Experience with Zoho software
