A well know Healthcare Practice is seeking a Medical Records Clerk to join their Healthcare team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining patient records in compliance with privacy laws and regulations. The successful applicant will not only understand patient confidentiality rules, but will also be able to quickly and accurately process information in both physical and digital formats.

Responsibilities:

• Organize and manage patient health information data.

• Ensure all necessary documents and patient data are in order and properly filed.

• Manage digital filing systems and maintain electronic patient records.

• Review patient records for completeness and accuracy.

• Respond to requests for patient records, ensuring all such requests comply with privacy laws and regulations.

• Protect patient confidentiality and sensitive information in accordance with healthcare privacy laws.

• Assist medical staff in retrieving and processing patient information.

• Enter patient information into databases as necessary.

• Update patient records with new data.

• Perform periodic audits of records to ensure accuracy and compliance with legal standards.

  Requirements

1+ years of experience in health records management or a similar role.
