Job Title: EDI Developer

Location: Madison, WI (Hybrid – 3 Days Onsite)

Salary: $90,000-110,000/year DOE

Direct/Permanent Hire

Job Description:

Robert Half is seeking a knowledgeable and dedicated EDI Developer for our client in the Madison area, to design and implement data interchanges and assist with moving their current EDI system to a cloud based system. This position requires a thorough understanding of electronic data interchange software, standards, and protocols. As an EDI Developer, your main duties will involve developing, coordinating, implementing, and managing all EDI-related developments for the company.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop high-quality EDI processes, maps, and systems to ensure effective exchange of electronic data.

  • Assist in the analysis and design of new EDI applications and enhancements to existing EDI applications.

  • Participate in system testing to ensure the quality and accuracy of EDI functionalities.

  • Troubleshoot and resolve EDI-related issues, perform ongoing maintenance, and develop change requests as needed.

  • Coordinate with partners to establish and implement standard EDI practices.

  • Provide support and training to users of EDI tools and systems.

  • Monitor EDI data transmission to ensure that all systems are working efficiently and correctly.

  • Collaborate with other team members to design and implement integration solutions.

    Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Experience with Microsoft BizTalk Server is desired but not required.

  • Strong experience in EDI standards and protocols such as ANSI X12, EDIFACT, etc.

  • Proficiency in EDI mapping tools and software.

  • Proficiency with SQL and stored procedures.

  • Exceptional problem-solving abilities and strong analytical skills.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Strong knowledge in system integration and interfacing.

  • Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
