Description We are offering a long-term contract employment opportunity for a Business Analyst I in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. As part of our team, you will be expected to use your strong analytical skills and attention to detail to support processes related to financial data. The role will involve close collaboration with business users and IT leads to understand requirements and assist in turning them into specifications.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborating closely with business users and IT leads to understand and translate requirements into detailed guides for developers.

• Developing a comprehensive understanding of applications developed and supported by the team.

• Creating user guides for business users and managing updates.

• Conducting detailed testing and analysis of newly developed functionalities and enhancements.

• Extracting datasets and comparing between different environments for validation purposes.

• Creating mockup files based on specifications to aid in the development process.

• Researching any data discrepancies using Excel and other tools to ensure accuracy.

• Managing business meeting minutes and translating them into comprehensive documents.

• Performing various administrative tasks such as process management and IT ticketing deployment planning.

This role requires proficiency in MS Office products, particularly Excel, and a basic knowledge of relational database concepts and query language using PL/SQL tools would be advantageous. You will need to be comfortable working under pressure to meet deadlines, and demonstrate strong negotiation and influence skills, as well as critical thinking in managing complexity. Requirements • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, SQL, JIRA, and other related software

• Demonstrated ability in planning and deploying strategic initiatives

• Experience in research and data analysis, particularly with large and complex data sets

• Ability to support workstations and manage ticketing systems effectively

• Excellent command of the English language, both written and spoken

• Skilled in negotiation tactics and liaising with various stakeholders

• Familiarity with discrepancy management and query handling

• Experience in preparing specifications and deploying enhancements

• Ability to prepare datasets and create mockups

• Strong analytical skills and critical thinking capabilities

• Proficiency in Assertion Markup Language and ability to translate technical requirements

• Experience in recording meeting minutes and other administrative tasks

• A plus if familiar with other programming or data analysis tools

• Exceptional written communication skills and ability to convey complex information clearly
