Job Title: Custodian

Job Type: Short-term (1 week assignment)

Pay Rate: $18 - $19/hr

Job Summary:

In a warehouse environment, perform a variety of activities related to the storage, maintenance, and shipping of raw materials and/or finished products to support the overall operation and exceed customer expectations.

Job Description:

Key Accountabilities:

• Perform sorting, stacking, cleaning, washing, stocking, and inspection of cartons, pallets, or parts as assigned to support the operation.

• Maintain cleanliness in areas, restrooms, and workspaces to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.

• Adhere to all safety policies and procedures, including the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).

Primary Focus:

• Painting and cleaning of walls, doors, and surfaces.

• Window and mirror cleaning.

• Trash and recycling removal.

• Sanitization of surfaces in common areas (cafeterias, coffee areas).

• Clean, sanitize, and stock restrooms.

• Vacuum and mop floors.

• Clean light fixtures.

• Maintain inventory of consumables, cleaning supplies, etc.

Qualifications:

Minimum Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent.

• Basic knowledge of general repair techniques.

• Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.

• Ability to work at heights.

• Effective verbal and written communication skills.

• Proactive and positive attitude towards addressing maintenance needs.

Preferred Requirements:

• 2-3 years of previous experience in facility maintenance, janitorial work, or a related field in an industrial environment.

• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively to meet deadlines.

Pay Details: $18.00 to $19.00 per hour
