Bob Evans Farms operates in multiple convenience foods categories within grocery and club. It holds #1 market positions in three major categories. This winning brand has been experiencing strong growth, a trend it's expecting to continue mostly through its leadership in the refrigerated dinner and breakfast categories. Bob Evans Farms products are distributed nationally in retailers throughout North America. Responsibilities This position is for 3rd shift Position Summary: This position is responsible for the set-up, operation, and disassembling of equipment used for production by mechanical means to produce both work in process and finished goods products. This job may include the loading, unloading of materials, packaging and finished goods products from racks or pallets. This position is a dual role working production needs then transferring into sanitation as directed by the plant production supervisor.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Safety 1st Adhering to GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) during production, sanitation, and handling materials and ingredients. Maintain and adjust equipment to control designated weights on an individual package or case weight basis. Meet production performance requirements in a fast-paced work environment. Transfers finished products and raw materials to identified location in the plant/warehouse or on production line. Adhere to all safety requirements including the wearing of PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) as prescribed for each work activity or job. Perform CCP checks as needed depending on location in the plant and during manufacturing. Follow all SQF principles pertinent to your position as specified by the SQF Practitioner. All food safety and human safety concerns need to be reported to appropriate personnel such as shift lead, shift supervisor, QA technician, Safety Manager, FSQ Manager, etc. Participate in PSRMP Element teams. 2-15 at a minimum 1 element. All other duties as assigned Knowledge: Ability to apply good judgement and understanding to carry out detailed instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form Ability to communicate production issues, counts and weights to supervision or lead personnel Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations Knowledge of GMP and safe food manufacturing practices a plus Education/Experience: High school diploma or general education degree (GED) Two or more years industrial equipment or food manufacturing experience required Forklift/Pallet Jack Certification a plus Qualifications Qualifications: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
