Description Robert Half Finance & Accounting has partnered with a manufacturer seeking a Controller. The Controller will oversee the accounting and financial functions of the company including staff supervision, month end closing, budgeting and forecasting, financial analysis, financial reporting, capital planning, internal controls, compliance and managing internal and external audit activities. The Controller will also manage and oversee the standard costing and inventory processes.

Minimum qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or Accounting (MBA/CPA preferred) , 8+ years of manufacturing accounting and analysis experience, 3+ years supervisory experience, ERP system experience (SAP preferred) and advanced knowledge of Excel.

• Proficiency in Month End Close procedures is essential

• Must have experience in preparing Financial Statements

• Advanced skills in MS Excel are required

• Knowledge and experience with SAP software is necessary

• Proficiency in Financial Analysis is crucial

• Experience in the Manufacturing industry is preferred

• Expertise in Budgeting and Forecasting is essential

• Should be adept at Variance Analysis

• Experience in Forecasting and Modeling is required

• Knowledge of Standard Costing is beneficial

• Must have experience with Audit Management

• Direct Supervision skills are essential

• Familiarity with Internal Control processes is necessary

• Compliance skills are required

• Should have experience in initiating Process Improvement Initiatives

• Proficiency in Internal Financial Reporting is essential

• Experience in Monthly Financial Reporting is required.
