Office of Naval Intelligence GG-13 Interdisciplinary Position in Suitland, Maryland
The Office of Naval Intelligence's Farragut Technical Analysis Center (TAC) has a vacancy announcement on its website for two GG-13 Interdisciplinary positions (general, computer, or electrical engineering; or naval architecture; or physics; or chemistry; or mathematics; or computer science) that is open until 31 December. The individuals filling these positions will serve as all-source scientific and technical intelligence (SandTI) analysts within one of Farragut's six departments and will apply analytic expertise, initiative, creativity, critical thinking, and strong communication and interpersonal skills on a daily basis to solve complex intelligence problems and drive intelligence collection efforts. The selected candidates must be able to obtain and maintain a Top Secret security clearance with access to Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI). ONI and its Centers are located in Suitland, MD, which is a few miles south of Washington DC. Farragut TAC is the U.S. Navy's Center of Excellence for strategic scientific and technical intelligence (SandTI) analysis of foreign technologies, sensors, weapons, platforms, combat systems, C4ISR, and cyber capabilities.
